WE PUT OUR DATA TO ACTION!

STEM Initiative – Volume III

The State of Black Arizona is in its fourth year of providing STEM Student Summit Days for African- American middle school students. Summit Days are held on Saturdays, and students attend facilitated workshops. Workshops are led by African Americans within their field, each providing a close look at various STEM fields, including Accounting, Chemistry, IT, and Engineering. We collaborate with various companies and community sponsors in order to execute this initiative. As a follow-up to Student Summit Days, we host a Parent Advocacy workshop to provide information on the impact of pursuing STEM Careers.
